FINANCE, GOVERNANCE & RISK COMMITTEE

The Finance, Governance and Risk Committee is responsible for all thing governance and finance related, some of the responsibilities of the Committee include:

  • Monitoring and scrutinising the Councils income and expenditure against the annual budget
  • Reviewing tenders for Council contracts
  • Preparing budget proposals and making recommendation to full Council
  • Considering grant applications from Community Groups
  • Reviewing and adopting Council polices
  • Making recommendation to full Council on consultation responses
  • Reviewing the Councils Risk Register
  • Reviewing and monitoring the Councils resource requirements

 

The Parish Councils Finance, Governance and Risk Committee consists of six Parish Councillors:

  • Councillor Sarah Hession (Vice-Chair of the Committee)

The Committee meets at the Parish Council Offices on the second Wednesday of each month, except August and December.
